Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management: Human Resource Development

Drexel University’s Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management stands alone as a rigorous, accelerated part-time doctoral program that equips graduates with the skills and knowledge to become educational administrators.

Students in the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management program have the option to focus their studies in a Human Resource Development concentration. The HRD concentration is designed to enable HRD leaders to design and implement workplace learning, performance, and change initiatives in a variety of organizational settings.

The following courses are required for the doctoral concentration in HRD.

  • EHRD 500 Foundations of Human Resource Development
  • EHRD 604 Development of Human Resources
  • EHRD 601 Leading and Evaluating Change
  • EHRD 602 Coaching and Mentoring for Sustainable Learning
  • EHRD 606 Human and Organizational Performance

Other concentrations in the EdD program include Educational Administration, Educational Policy, Higher Education, Special Education Leadership and Athletic Administration.
