HRD symposium (8.30 am to 5 pm on Sept 17)

When did you last witness, experience, or contribute to workplace incivility?

Despite strides to improve American corporate culture, the challenge of incivility in the workplace is causing chaos within employee relationships, diminishing office morale, and producing unintended financial costs and liability. According to Dr. Rajashi Ghosh, Assistant Professor of Human Resource Development at Drexel University, “the cost of workplace incivility to U.S. corporations in terms of lost productivity and health care costs is estimated to be $23.8 billion on an annual basis.”

The Goodwin College of Professional Studies of Drexel University in partnership with the Philadelphia chapter of SHRM will be hosting this important symposium on Human Resource Development’s (HRD) role in addressing Workplace Incivility & Violence to help establish a dialog on this vital professional and personally impactful issue.

This program will be held on Drexel’s campus Saturday, September 17th

5.25 General HRCI Credits from the HR Certification Institute will be available for participants and the event is FREE.
