The M.S. in Professional Studies with a concentration in Educational Policy program places an emphasis on educational and societal issues related to access and equity to the full range of educational resources within the U.S. and beyond. Topics addressed include technology and connectivity, demographics, economic status, location, and legislative and jurisdictional boundaries.
The program examines the positioning of policy-making within global contexts, and takes an in-depth look at the roles of ethics and ethical decisions in past and future policy-making. Drexel University’s tradition of applied learning is fully integrated into the program as students learn the tactics and skills of policy-making.
The Educational Policy concentration takes a rigorous academic approach to studies and provides a focus essential to the emerging policy-making role of educational leaders at all levels.
