Certificate in Retail Leadership
The Certificate in Retail Leadership is a collaborative venture between Goodwin College of Professional Studies and the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. Through this collaboration, we will train professionals to excel as leaders in the retail field by offering a certificate program to introduce and develop skills for individuals interested in the retail industry.
Program content combines leadership, style, trends, and strategy to focus on key areas of the retail industry including:
- Retail store management
- Retail operations and strategy
- In-store visual merchandising
- Retail store leadership
Who Should Choose Retail Leadership?
- People working in the retailing industry without a bachelor’s degree or without formal education in the retail industry.
- People wishing to enter the retail industry
- Evening or online students pursuing a degree in Professional Studies or General Studies with a minor in Business.
- Full-time day students pursuing a variety of majors such as Fashion Design and Business
Curriculum
The undergraduate certificate in Retail Leadership is comprised of 18 credits.
Students complete four required courses to build a strong foundation in emergency management, then select two more elective courses which delve into more areas of the field.
