Celene McGowan - Associate Director for Championships and Sport Administration in the Ivy League Conference

McGowan oversees the administration and event operations for the Ivy League’s 12 championships, coordinates intra-conference scheduling and manages the officiating and administration of playing rules for the league, including overseeing the independent contractors who serve as the league's officiating coordinators. She is also a member of the executive director’s senior management team. McGowan came to the Ivy League after nine years at the Atlantic 10 Conference office, most recently as assistant commissioner for championships. In that role, she was directly responsible for the operational and budgetary planning for eight Atlantic 10 championships while providing oversight for the other Olympic sports championships.

Patrick Muffley - Associate Director for Sports Management and Compliance in the Patriot League Conference

Muffley joined the Patriot League office staff in August 2007, and was promoted to associate director for sport management and compliance in January 2009. Muffley now oversees sport groups and administrative committees, directs the Patriot League compliance operation, serves as the liaison to the officials' assignor and facilitates the NCAA governance cycle with league institutions. He also contributes to the Patriot League's championship administration. Muffley joined the Patriot League after a two-year stint at Brown University, where he served as the athletic administration intern from 2005 to 2007 and as the travel coordinator from 2006 to 2007.
