PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (May 23, 2011)--Students from Goodwin College will process in Drexel University’s Commencement Exercises on June 10. Commencement will take place on Drexel’s main campus at John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center (33rd and Market Sts., Philadelphia) at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are required to attend the Commencement ceremony. Students may pick up guest tickets with academic regalia at the University Bookstore, Creese Student Center (32nd and Chestnut Streets). Each graduate will receive an initial allotment of four guest tickets. To guarantee guest tickets, students must purchase regalia by Friday, June 3.
Additional tickets most likely will be available for graduating students. Further information about availability and distribution will be announced in an e-mail that will be sent to all graduating students on or about June 1. If extra tickets are available, students will eligible to receive two. Extra tickets will be distributed beginning 8 a.m. on Friday, June 3. Only guests with tickets will be able to enter the ceremonies. Guests without tickets will be guided to a remote viewing location.
Complimentary parking for graduates and their families is available at the Drexel University Garage (34th and Market Sts., Philadelphia) June 10 from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. Additional complimentary parking is available at all University surface lots; most convenient to the Daskalaskis Athletic Center are lots L, K and C.
