On Tuesday, May 25, Drexel University’s Goodwin College of Professional Studies and the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design will present a free concert designed to bring attention to the recent crimes against women in Juarez, Mexico.
Starring Intercultural Journeys, a musical ensemble comprised of Philadelphia Orchestra members and other notable musicians that seeks to bridge cultural divides through music, the special evening of music is part of NI UNA MAS, a two-month series of special events including an art exhibition featuring the works of Yoko Ono, Kiki Smith and Nancy Spero; film screenings; and lectures.
NI UNA MAS will take place from Saturday, May 15 through Friday, July 16 at the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery at 3401 Filbert Street, Philadelphia, with the Intercultural Journey Concert taking place on May 25 at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
