(Philadelphia – Oct. 17, 2011)—Goodwin College is now offering a way for Education students to earn two degrees in just four years. The School of Education’s new Accelerated Degree Program, the Four-Year B.S./M.S. in Education, is the only one of its kind in Teacher Education in the country.
One of the biggest benefits of this program is that it saves students time. Students can complete in four years what typically takes five to six. It is also an economical education option, as students take all courses at the undergraduate rate. Holding both undergraduate and graduate degrees makes students instantly more marketable to potential employers, giving students a competitive edge in the workplace.
Once a student earns 90 undergraduate credits, graduate-level courses are included in the curriculum.
Students have the option to earn a master’s degree in one of five areas: Global and International Education; Higher Education; Human Resource Development; Learning Technologies; and Teaching, Learning and Curriculum.
