American Infrastructure Endowed Lecture Series Comes to Goodwin Nov. 7

(PHILADELPHIA - Oct. 31, 2011)- American Infrastructure (AI) has partnered with Drexel University's Goodwin College in an annual event that brings together the next generation of construction leaders. The American Infrastructure Endowed Lecture Series kicks off Nov. 7, featuring two distinguished guests and providing participants the opportunity to engage in lively discussion and share ideas about the construction industry with faculty, students, and industry leaders.

The first lecture in this annual series takes place Monday, Nov. 7 in Mitchell Auditorium at Bossone Research Center (3140 Market St., Philadelphia). The event begins at 12:30 with "Career Day," the first of two career-oriented sessions that afternoon. The Lecture Series, beginning at 3:30 p.m., features speakers Barry C. Schoch, P.E., Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation, and Michael J. Uremovich, 2011 National Chairman for Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., and former founder and CEO of Starcon. A reception for attendees begins at 5 p.m., followed by the second "Career Day" session at 5:30 p.m.

Goodwin College's Construction Management program offers an undergraduate degree in Construction Management, and a variety of concentrations at the graduate level.
