Just the Facts: An Evening with Author and Reporter George Anastasia, October 27, 2010

Bookmark and Share

Veteran Inquirer reporter and author George Anastasia talks about narrative and story-telling in non-fiction writing in this October 27 session that is part of Goodwin College’s Leading-Edge Writing Network. With insights and anecdotes from his reporting on organized and disorganized crime and from high profile murder cases like the Rabbi Neulander and Thomas Capano investigations, Anastasia will explain how non-fiction can be more compelling and more surprising than writing fiction. Or as he is frequently heard to exclaim, "You can't make this up any better than it is."

Anastasia is the author of five books, including Blood and Honor, which Jimmy Breslin called "The best gangster book ever written." His other works include New York Times bestsellers The Summer Wind and The Last Gangster.
