The School of Education will host a workshop on Experience Sampling Methodology (ESM), a practice for documenting individuals' experience several times a day, on Wednesday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at One Drexel Plaza (3001 Market Street). The workshop is for researchers in the fields of education, psychology, social sciences, business/management and public health.

ESM has been applied to a variety of educational and organizational research issues. Dr. Joel Hektner, associate professor of human development and family science at North Dakota State University, and Dr. Jen Katz-Buonincontro, assistant professor of educational leadership in Goodwin College's School of Education, will lead the free workshop. An overview of ESM methodology will be provided as an example using a current ESM research project on leaders' moods and creative problem-solving abilities. Participants will design their own ESM research project and explore mobile technology to track study participants.

To register, email Dr. Jen Katz-Buonincontro at jkb@drexel.edu.
