Goodwin Becomes Apple Authorized Training Center

INFO SESSION FEBRUARY 18

Goodwin College’s Adult Education Division has become an Apple Authorized Training Center and as such, will be offering Final Cut Pro instruction beginning early March.

An information session will be held at One Drexel Plaza on February 18th from 11am to 3pm in the Mac Lab 141 to roll out the program. Bob Trikakis, Apple’s Northeast Educational Development Representative, will be on hand to do a general overview of the Final Cut Pro application and to assist with demonstrations and critiques of attendees’ projects. Goodwin College’s Learning Technologies staff will also be available to assist.

Final Cut Pro is a professional, non-linear editing software application that runs on Mac personal computers. The software allows users to log and capture video onto a hard drive where it can be edited, processed and output to a wide variety of formats. It is becoming the preferred editing software in the post-production, broadcast, filmmaking and multimedia industries.
