PHILADELPHIA (Aug. 31, 2011)—In collaboration with the Philadelphia chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM,) Goodwin College presents “HRD’s Role in Addressing Workplace Incivility and Violence.” The symposium takes place at Drexel University on Sept. 17.
Despite strides to improve American corporate culture, the challenge of incivility in the workplace is causing chaos within employee relationships, diminishing office morale, and producing unintended financial costs and liability. This symposium aims to establish a dialogue on the role of Human Resource Development's role in addressing these types of issues.
