Project Management program collaborates with College of Engineering and LeBow College of Business, September 13, 2010

An innovative, collaborative initiative has been carefully developed between the Project Management program at Goodwin College of Professional Studies, the Engineering Management program at the College of Engineering, and the M.B.A. program at LeBow College of Business.

This initiative is in support of students who complete Drexel’s graduate certificate program offered specifically for Lockheed Martin employees and called the Operational Leadership Development Program (OLDP). The current program consists of four graduate courses and is offered through the Engineering Management program. Graduates of the OLDP who wish to continue their graduate studies called the Secondary Pursuit can now pursue the M.S. in Project Management at the Goodwin College or the previously available options of the M.S. in Engineering Management and the M.B.A.

Through the new initiative, students are now presented with three options to continue their graduate studies at Drexel, and their educational experience is further enhanced and streamlined. Two online webinars were held to present these comprehensive programs to Lockheed Martin students and graduates on July 27 and 28, 2010. Brandon Alan Dorfman, program manager of Multidisciplinary & Emerging Programs (MEP), and Frank T. Anbari, clinical professor in the Project Management program, presented at these webinars.

Lockheed Martin is a project-oriented global company that employs about 136,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration, and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products, and services.
