Welcome to the School of Education (SoE), one of the two academic units in the Goodwin College of Professional Studies at Drexel University. The vision of SoE is to develop a national and international reputation for best practices in teaching and scholarship related to technology aided learning and education access for traditional and non-traditional students.
SoE offers one undergraduate education degree, a post baccalaureate certificate program leading to Pennsylvania state certification for elementary and secondary school teachers program, 9 masters degree programs and 2 doctoral degrees.
The undergraduate curricular offerings include a Bachelor of Science in Education, Four-Year Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Education Program, Five-Year Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in Education Program and a Minor in Education.
Our graduate programs include 9 masters of science degrees and 2 elite doctoral degrees. The following masters degrees are offered in an Educational Administration, Collaborative Leadership, Global and International Education, Higher Education, Human Resource Development, Learning Technologies, Mathematics Learning and Teaching, Special Education, and Teaching, Learning and Curriculum. In addition, SoE also offers a Ph.D. in Education and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management.
A shared mission for all undergraduate and graduate programs is to develop 21st century leaders with the expertise to collaborate and solve complex problems related to educating students and a diverse workforce impacted by national and global forces.
