The School of Education's secondary education teacher certification programs are designed for individuals who seek to qualify for state teacher certification to teach middle and high school content.

Both undergraduate and graduate pathways are available. The undergraduate teacher education program is the pathway taken for candidate who have some college experience, but do not yet possess a bachelor's degree.
Graduate teacher education programs are designed for those who recently obtained a bachelor's degree or career-changers who already minimally possess a bachelor's degree including those who already serve as temporary, emergency, or substitute teachers and wish to earn a formal teaching certification.
