Academic Advising

Each Advisor provides Developmental Academic Advising as well as transactional assistance for a caseload of more than 300 part-time on-campus and online undergraduate students.

Scholarships

Established scholarship & student life structure is geared to non-traditional students.

Flexible Hours of Operation

The Student Services Advising unit is particularly experienced and responsible for advising non-traditional students who work full-time during the day and offer expanded hours of operation.

Transfer Credit and Assessment of Prior Learning

College-level prior learning can be identified in an evaluative process designed to determine whether it is worthy of college credit.

Goodwin College Student Organizations and Involvement

Part-time, adult undergraduates have a separate student governing body, professional organizations, and social activities all managed by Goodwin College Student Services.

Membership in any organization or activity is voluntary. Executive offices in any group are elected positions. New student organizations may be proposed and created with sufficient student interest and support.

Members of student organizations may be approved for travel to professional conferences related to their organization.  Other benefits include access to scholarships tied to student activities and textbook reimbursement.
